Brown&Momen, Inc.

 

  Ernest Brown, President of Brown & Momen, Inc., began his career in 1970 by working for the first Construction Management firm in the United States as a Project Planner/Scheduler. Mr. Brown relocated to Washington, D.C. where he was a Senior Scheduler for Amtrak on the Northeast Corridor Project which converted the Washington to Boston line into the high-speed commuter rail service it is today. Hired by Hill International, a construction claims firm, Mr. Brown was assigned to work with the General Services Administration (GSA) to analyze and defend the GSA against construction delay claims. In 1983, Mr. Brown returned to Chicago to take the position of Lead Scheduler for the McCormick Place Expansion Project. He went on to accept the position of Project Administrator for Chicago’s Department of Planning to transform the State Street Mall into an open access street. Mr. Brown incorporated Brown & Momen, Inc. in 1986.
